Ren hanging around
Ren is doing well. He's feeding better everyday. The nurses at Tarzana are very patient in working with him to realize that feeding time is pleasurable and not torturous. Go figure when mommy loves to eat and loves all kinds of food! He's been gaining weight consistantly. The latest is that he's put on 25grams and now he's 5lbs 3oz. He loves mommy's milk and spits out the formula. Mommy's pumping over time to keep up with Rhys too.
Rhys is getting over his cold. He still has boogers in his little nose. He's nearly 11lbs and loves to eat. Guess he gets that from mommy. He's sumo baby compared to Ren. But not to worry, Ren's catching up slowly but surely. There's no word yet on when we can come home. But believe you me, the first sign the doc's give us that it's okay to fly...I'm soooo on the next flight home. It's been really really really, no really tough with everything that's been happening with our family. And since I'm breastfeeding to help Ren get better, mommy can't even have red wine to help take the edge off, shucks. I miss and love you all. Mommy, Daddy, Ren, & Rhys

ReplyDeleteGreat news that both boys are feeling better each day. They are lucky mommy is a "milk machine" helping both to grow & thrive. You know Ren & Rhys are both strong like mommy yet bald like daddy (haha!). Actually it's Roy who is the eating machine - not mommy! ;-)
Yes, when you get back (which means the boys are doing better) we are soooo having that glass of wine and lookout Sasabune cause here we come!!

Hey Seiko! I can't believe how much the boys have grown since the last pictures... It's amazing what mommy's milk can do. Speaking of mommy's milk reminds me of our DC9 days flying together... actually whenever we fly together come to think of it!!! I'm happy to hear that the boys are doing better and better.
