Mommy makes me so happy!

Rocky Ren Boy!

Mommy's little sleepers.

Are you hiding acorns in your cheeks Rhys?

Ren hanging around

Ren is doing well. He's feeding better everyday. The nurses at Tarzana are very patient in working with him to realize that feeding time is pleasurable and not torturous. Go figure when mommy loves to eat and loves all kinds of food! He's been gaining weight consistantly. The latest is that he's put on 25grams and now he's 5lbs 3oz. He loves mommy's milk and spits out the formula. Mommy's pumping over time to keep up with Rhys too.
Rhys is getting over his cold. He still has boogers in his little nose. He's nearly 11lbs and loves to eat. Guess he gets that from mommy. He's sumo baby compared to Ren. But not to worry, Ren's catching up slowly but surely. There's no word yet on when we can come home. But believe you me, the first sign the doc's give us that it's okay to fly...I'm soooo on the next flight home. It's been really really really, no really tough with everything that's been happening with our family. And since I'm breastfeeding to help Ren get better, mommy can't even have red wine to help take the edge off, shucks. I miss and love you all. Mommy, Daddy, Ren, & Rhys

Twins! Daddy and Ren!

Mommy and Ren
Here is our family's first blog. Just letting you know how we're doing. Ren is recovering from heart surgery. He is out of the CTICU from Childrens Hospital of LA. He then moved to the 6th floor and got ready to come home right before New Years. He came home for one day but had to go to emergency on New Year's Eve because he was dehydrated. Now he's getting better and moved to a closer hospital in Tarzana. Rhys is getting bigger everyday. He's nearly 10lbs and keeping mommy and grandma busy every night. Mommy is dealing with everything as best as she can. She has to be strong for the two of us. Check back regularly for updates on the babies!
